Jonathan is a partner at Sidley Austin LLP in Washington, D.C., where he focuses his practice on the intersection between legal risk and data.  Jonathan has extensive experience in the areas of cybersecurity, complex litigation, investigations, and large-scale compliance technology implementations.  Jonathan is also a frequent speaker and thought leader on issues related to cybersecurity, information management, and complex litigation.  He sits on the Steering Committee of The Sedona Conference Working Group 11 on Data Security and Privacy Liability.  He earned a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland at College Park and a J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
